Spotify Launches Another New Feature - Daylist
Seems every week now Spotify has launched a new feature, firstly DJ, then Showcase - and now we have Daylist! The Daylist feature will generate “a series of highly specific playlists made for every version of you”, tailored around users’ established listening habits on the platform. The playlist will update itself automatically at various points throughout the day, because as Spotify say - “over the course of the day, your mood changes and so does the music you listen to”. We'll see how accurate it is! You can read more about it here
Billboard Introduces the TIkTok Top 50
Billboard have recently announced a new addition to their charting system - the weekly TikTok top 50. The weekly chart will list the most popular songs on the social video sharing platform “based on creations, video views and user engagement”. What's interesting to note is that the chart will only cover metrics generated by TikTok’s userbase in the US, and will not reflect a song’s popularity on the platform in any other territory. Gyroscope Benefit Show
Our best buds Gyroscope are putting on one hell of a show for one hell of a good cause! The show will support a young family during a challenging time after the loss of their little boy, and to honour his courage and the legacy he leaves behind.The fundraiser will take place at the Indian Ocean Hotel in Scarborough on October 28, with support from Pretty Uglys, The Deenys, and Bush Telly.
