I hope you all had a chance to chill and reset over last weeks 4 day weekend. There's a bunch of cool stuff coming up and a couple of fun bits of info I've stumbled across, so scroll down to check it out! We monitor this closely for cancelations and will notify you ASAP if your preferred time becomes available! Spotify Paid-For AudioBooks, Could This Help Bands? Launched only in the US (so far), Spotify recently added Audiobooks to the app! This means different books will be available, with a 'lock' icon appearing next to them, with the user having to pay through their Spotify account to access the audio. However - this could mean good thing for bands! Maybe down the line, a band might want to release a bonus single or deluxe album - with the option of users having to purchase these, allowing a bit of extra income for artists. You can read more here! Reclink Cup Next Weekend! The mighty Freo Reclink Cup is back! Get down to Freo Oval next Saturday the 8th for the famous standoff between the our journos and musos!  The Bandgropers boast players from Odlaw, Methyl Ethel, Jocelyn's Baby, Gap Year, Drowning Horse, New Talk, Pat Chow and Federal Member for Fremantle, Josh Wilson! The Newshounds, coached by Wayne Ryder feature players from RTRFM, ABC Perth, The West Australian, WA Government and local member for Fremantle Brad Petit.  Plus you can catch Angie Colman, Odlaw and Sweat playing sets throughout!
