G'day Friends!

Tom Wilson, Manager of The Hen House here! Hoping you're at the end of a successful week, and going in to an even better weekend.

We're still looking forward to the return of the warmth - but until then, remember that the kettle here is always boiled, the heaters in the rooms are on and you can back up to each studio to keep your gear dry as a bone.

Your Shot Comp & Winners

Last Saturday & Sunday at The Court, the 2023 Your Shot comp was held - seeing over 120 DJ's battle it out for 2 places to head over east and compete for the Aus title! We were lucky enough to have so many of these amazing DJs down at the studio over the past month or so, perfecting their skills and most importantly, enjoying their craft. Congrats to you all! And also to WilsRish and Impulse who took out the big prize.

Ticketek and Spotify Join Forces

It's been around for a while, but now Spotify's live events feed will be kind of useful! Aside from being able to use Spotify to see where bands are playing next, you can now also click on those shows and buy tickets directly through Spotify - all powered by Ticketek. Hopefully the cuts aren't as bad as streaming and it means more people at more shows! You can read more here

Did you know we have a YouTube channel? Maybe click here and check it out! Remission Release Sophomore Album Today!

Congrats to some of our best homies here at the studio, Remission, on the release of their second album Impermanence - that comes out TODAY! Not only are these guys some of the hardest working and most talented musicians going around, but they are also lovely gents. They won a free week of studio hire here at The Hen House and used it to start writing this masterpiece. If you came to our last party - you may have even seen them play!
